Austin InHouse Test Prep is currently seeking highly-qualified test prep teachers and tutors. These are part-time positions that are dependent on the market and season. Please note that all teachers and tutors are hired as independent contractors. As such, payment of any taxes will be solely your responsibility. 

Ideal candidates for these positions should:

·         possess both an engaging, dynamic personality and a professional demeanor

·         enjoy working one-on-one with students

·         have experience working as a test preparation instructor

·         have a record of success in raising students' test scores

·         be qualified to teach all sections of a given test

·         be a graduate of, or a highly-qualified undergraduate at, a selective college or university

·         be committed to fulfilling their obligation to any students that they accept. Although this tutoring opportunity is ongoing, our current hiring needs require a commitment at least through the spring 2007 SATs.

These positions require travel to students' homes, so reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are firm requirements.

We are also looking for general tutors for all ages and subjects. General tutors must have a college degree (or be nearing graduation) and experience teaching or tutoring.
